Onsite Sewage Systems:
The construction of on-site sewage systems with daily design flows of ≤10,000 Litres/day require a building permit under the Ontario Building Code while those with daily design flows of >10,000 Litres/day require a Certificate of Approval from the MOE.
PEL has designed and obtained approval for sewage systems of up to 64,600 Litres/day and ranging in complexity from conventional leaching beds to sewage systems utilizing treatment units producing tertiary quality effluent including:
• Windermere House, Lake Rosseau - 64,600 Litres/day
• Blue Water Acres, Lake of Bays - 60,950 Litres/day
• Camp Muskoka, Bracebridge - 48,600 Litres/day
• Santa’s Village, Bracebridge - 37,750 Litres/day
• Clear Lake Village, Bala - 33,700 Litres/day
• New Tecumseth OPP, Alliston - 10,000 Litres/day
• Bigwin Island Golf Course
• Oviinbyrd Golf Club
