Storm Water Management Plans:
The protection of surface water resources and prevention of downstream flood impacts are primary concerns associated with new development. PEL has completed hundreds of storm water management studies and plans for projects ranging in size from single lot lakefront developments to large scale commercial and resort sites throughout Ontario.
The staff at PEL are very familiar with local and provincial regulations regarding quality and quantity control requirements and are trained on several industry accepted computer simulation programs used in the preparation of the hydrologic models which serve as the basis for most drainage plans.
Following MOE guidelines, PEL can prepare detailed storm water management plans based on the sensitivity of the receiving water body for any development plan.
